If you’re planning a trip to Pattaya, following are some of the things you should be on your to-do list:

  1. Tiffany Show: This is a Cabaret Show in Pattaya performed by lady boys. Ticket prices are 800-1000-1200 Baht.
  2. Walking Street: Checkout the following link for Walking street  https://allzhere.wordpress.com/2012/12/10/walking-street-pattaya/
  3. Massages: Checkout the link for more details https://allzhere.wordpress.com/2012/12/10/massage-in-pattaya/
  4. Foam Party at Hard Rock Café (HRC). This is organized weekly on Saturday starting 9:30 PM.
  5. Water Rides: Try out some water rides. If you’ve done it before; skip this as its nothing special.
  6. Coral Islands Visit: This is one of many site seeing options that are available at various travel desks. You can find more details on internet for this. However, nothing great about this. Coral island is a very average place.
  7. Super Karting: If you’re a karting/racing fan; try this. Simply put, it’s amazing. I had tried Super Karting; but it’s some distance away from Beach. Easy Karting is another option and it’s close to Walking Street.
  8. Fireworks Show: If you’re travelling in last week of November; you’ll be lucky to watch fireworks show at the beach. Awesome show that goes on for 45-60 minutes.
  9. Street Food: Lastly, I come to my favorite topic. 🙂 There are plenty of options for food in Pattaya. Following lists some options that I tried in 3-4 days:
    1. Fresh Juices
    2. Barbecue Sea food
    3. Pork Hot Dogs
    4. Banana Egg
    5. Pan Cakes
    6. Thai Food: Soups, Khao Phat, Pad Thai
    7. Ete Ice Cream
    8. Hilton, Burger King and Iranian Restaurants are worth a try. They serve amazing food.

Following are some of the travel options:

  1. Tuk Tuk : These are cheapest options available for getting from one place to another. Tariff varying from 20-100 Baht.
  2. Taxi: Motor Bikes are referred as taxi and take you from one place to another. The tariffs are higher than Tuk Tuk and vary from 50-200 Baht. Take this option if you want to beat traffic.
  3. Cab: These are metered ones and are generally preferred for long routes. Toyota Corolla, Innova or Camry are some of the options available. Not suggested for 1st road on beach.
  4. Rent a Vehicle: You can rent a vehicle in Pattaya. Cheapest option is un-geared scooter that cost 300 Baht per day.  There are other options including some swanky cars and superbikes.

There are plenty of vendors on streets for renting out vehicles.

Massage In Pattaya

It is correct to state that massage is the most attractive thing in Thailand.

Having said that, there are massage multiple options one can choose from.

  1. Thai Massage: These are genuine Thai massages and are extremely strong in nature. They are most done with elbows and hence can hurt you. You can ask the masseuse to be softer but it depends on her to acknowledge your request.
  2. Massage Parlors: These offer various massage and spa options. Some of them are listed below:
    1. Oil Massage (Body): A full body oil massage for an hour will give you extreme relaxation. Worth a shot.
    2. Foot Massage: Superb massage experience with tickle effect.
    3. Head Massage.

There are several parlors but Sabai and Savvanna are good ones and have multiple outlets in Pattaya. These massages range from 300-1500 Bahts.

  1. Body Massage: This is a full body massage which includes the following. It’s everything what a massage shouldn’t be:
    1. Choose a girl from fish bowl or arena in front of you.
    2. She takes a bath with you.
    3. Give you a soapy massage i.e. roles over you nude with soap/foam all over.
    4. This is followed by a sex shot.
    5. The experience lasts around 90 minutes.
    6. Price of this massage varies from 2000-4000 Baht depending on the girl you choose.
    7. It’s a life time experience for most; however the girls aren’t really hot.

Walking Street-Pattaya

Walking street is the most happening place to be in Pattaya. The place tightly boasts of an amazing atmosphere and fun. Things kick off in the evening. However the real part pumps around 23:00 hrs and continues till early morning. Though the to-dos at walking street can be endless; I have tried to list some of the most important. At walking street, almost everything is an awesome if you’ve not experienced it before.

  1. Go-Go Bars: These are bars with pole dancers setting your mood. Alcatraz is a good one.
  2. Funny Sex Shows: These are funny sex shows that continue for an hour and have stunts like pussy/vaginal smoking, throwing a banana out of pussy. It may sound creepy but some stunts are funny.
  3. Open Bars: There are several open bars in and around walking street. There are live bands performing here but mostly they do covers (Metallica, Pink Floyd, Pearl Jam, etc.) to keep the crowd pumping.
  4. Magician: Experience some street magic at walking street. This is fun and awesome experience if you get to volunteer.
  5. B Boying: Some boys gather at walking street and start dancing (Hip Hop, Locking, Popping, etc.). Its super fun to watch such talent.
  6. Indian Mujra: There are some Indian bars around walking street that post Indian Mujra. Maharaja restaurant is one such place. Entry is for 100 Baht. Give it a try as the fee is nominal.
  7. Bar Girls: These are females at various bars who will accompany you. They lure you to spend more time and buy drinks at their bar to keep a good business. I have heard some people ask them out for a night as well. Though most of the bar girls aren’t sexy or hot or beautiful; LISA Bar has some good stuff. LISA bar is not at walking street. Its somewhere near Drinking Street on 2nd road.
  8. Good Bars: Hard Rock Café (HRC), Tavern, Gullivers, Farenheit are some good bars in pattaya. They have nice crowd and excellent food.
